Diesel engines, due to their designs and operation, generate more heat than gasoline engines. As a result, diesel engines need oil blends that can operate smoothly under hotter environments. This is the primary difference between diesel engine oil and gasoline engine oil. The oil that is used in gasoline engines is typically thinner than the oil that you will find in diesel engines. While the oil used in gasoline engines performs similar tasks to the oil in diesel engines, it cannot absorb heat. Therefore, it is less capable of cooling an engine than diesel engine oil.

After draining the oil, they then remove the old oil filter and replace the filter with a brand new OEM replacement filter. Lastly, our skilled technicians fill the engine up with the manufacturer-recommended amount of oil and test the vehicle.
